Who is Porto Club?
Porto Club is a small, bespoke Greek travel agency, founded in 1986 by George Portokalakis, a well-known chef and proud Cretan. Known for personal service and custom travel, Porto Club works under the umbrella of Paleologos SA www.ferries.gr a major Greek shipping agency and travel agency making extensive pan-Hellenic opportunities available to the traveller.

We specialise in helping you plan your custom itinerary to suit your interests, whether they be personal or professional. From a sole traveller to a larger group, we will plan with you, according to your timing and budget, from slow and leisurely to packed and stimulating. Porto Club also plans group tours that are available to join. We cater to all dietary needs, particularly vegetarian and vegan.
Hands-on experiences off the beaten track
Spend the day on a traditional farm with the family. Starting early milking to make fresh cheese, gather wild greens, using both to make traditional kalitsounia pies. Help cook the roast lunch, and walk off your feast touring the farm and outlying grazing lands. Taste the difference between cheese and meat from one area to another. The animals graze on different herbs and plants, flavouring the produce. See and sample various artisan products; beekeeping, weaving, pottery, winemaking and olives.

Greece abounds with comfortable and characteristic accommodation, and particularly in Crete the guest receives a traditional warm welcome that only grows warmer the longer you stay.

Tour cost includes all transportation in the country, meals, language interpretation and admission charges for planned activities. Drinks and purchases are extra.
