Program
DAY 1
Direction south. Mires - Phaestos - Listaros - Kali Limenes - Lentas - Koumassa -
Kapetaniana - Mournia - Tsoutsouros - Keratokambos. Overnight at Keratokambos.
South end of Crete. Clean water. An original 4X4 off road. Wild beauty.
Massif rocks surrounds and the Libyan sea on our right hand side.
Overnight at Keratokambos.
DAY 2
Join the sea for an early morning swim at the clear water of Keratokambos.
NextPoint Viannos. Short brake at the Laographick museum of Viannos
and direction south. Kato Simi. Typical, peaceful Cretan village. Don’t forget
to buy pure honey. Clime up the mountain to the plateau of Omalos.
If you like hiking, leave the car at the plateau and hike up to the top of
Afentis Christos. Each way aprox. two hours. A downhill to the village of
Miliarado and from Embaros an off road clime up to Lassithi mountains.
Panoramic view of the Plateau. Drive on Lassithi and way back to Iraklion.
